To The Ends Of The Earth!

Check out this great project at FBC!

Are you praying about how you can be part of this wonderful Great Commission opportunity? We can reach our WORLD for Christ, if only in a small way.

Sweeping Time!

Erma Bombeck once said, "My idea of housework is to sweep the room with a glance."

Humorous. But the Lord's House needs more thorough attention, and so we will gather Saturday morning after prayer breakfast (about 9:30), for the annual pre-Easter work day. This is an area where all can help! And the more who help, the easier the chore!

Join us if you will - 9:30 tomorrow morning.

Google Has It All Wrong!

I did a search for "the best breakfast in the world."

Some interesting things came up, but there was no mention of that which is clearly the only correct answer - Mens' Prayer Breakfast at Friendship Bible Church!

Join us tomorrow morning (Saturday), brothers, at 8:00 AM and see if you don't agree - GREAT breakfast, good fellowship, encouragement from the Word, and prayer together.

And remember to invite a friend!

"Maewyn Succat" Day!

That, of course, is what most believe to be the real name of Patrick, missionary to Ireland in the 4th century. A couple of excerpts from his "The Confessions of St. Patrick":

4 For there is no other God, nor ever was before, nor shall be hereafter, but God the Father, unbegotten and without beginning, in whom all things began, whose are all things, as we have been taught; and his son Jesus Christ, who manifestly always existed with the Father, before the beginning of time in the spirit with the Father, indescribably begotten before all things, and all things visible and invisible were made by him. He was made man, conquered death and was received into Heaven, to the Father who gave him all power over every name in Heaven and on Earth and in Hell, so that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord and God, in whom we believe. And we look to his imminent coming again, the judge of the living and the dead, who will render to each according to his deeds. And he poured out his Holy Spirit on us in abundance, the gift and pledge of immortality, which makes the believers and the obedient into sons of God and co-heirs of Christ who is revealed, and we worship one God in the Trinity of holy name.

12 I am, then, first of all, countryfied, an exile, evidently unlearned, one who is not able to see into the future, but I know for certain, that before I was humbled I was like a stone lying in deep mire, and he that is mighty came and in his mercy raised me up and, indeed, lifted me high up and placed me on top of the wall. And from there I ought to shout out in gratitude to the Lord for his great favours in this world and for ever, that the mind of man cannot measure.

Brother... Sister... Can You Spare An Hour?

"... the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers... (Luke 10:2)

We could use some extra hands setting up at the Community Center this evening, starting at 6:00 PM.  We need to set up tables and chairs in preparation for Bro. Jim White's funeral meal tomorrow afternoon.

Just meet at the Center at 6:00.  With a few more volunteers, we can get this done in a very short time.

Thanks in advance!
