If my people...

Just a quick reminder that the format for our midweek prayer is different this week. The regularly scheduled Wednesday Prayer meeting will not take place. Rather, on Thursday, from 5PM-9PM, the church will be open for prayer in observance of the 2013 National Day of Prayer. There is no program for this event, so just come anytime during that window and pray.

Our goal? Prayer continuously bombarding the throne throughout the evening. Some have already signed up for various time slots to ensure someone is praying each half hour between 5-9. Will you join us? Pray with us? Pray for America?

(BTW - The other Wednesday activities - Teen Gathering, and Leadership Training Institute, will take place at their regularly scheduled Wednesday time slots.)

Amazing to think!

It seems like just yesterday that we were sitting down to another wonderful mens' prayer breakfast at FBC on a Saturday morning. Well guess what? We can do it all over again, this Saturday morning, at 8 o'clock. Men, join us for another time of "iron sharpening iron," fellowship, the Word, and of course prayer.

90 and Sunny!

Beautiful day in Jerusalem today! I wonder what the weather will be like in June, 2014, when the FBC Holy Land tour touches down at Tel Aviv.

Well, that's one part of the upcoming trip that we can't really know for sure, but there are many other aspects of the trip that we can talk about at our informational meeting this Sunday evening at 6:30.

If you have even the tiniest of interest, in traveling with us to the land where Jesus walked, join us at 6:30 in Fellowship Hall for some refreshments and a question-and-answer time about the Holy Land trip.

LTI - Discipleship Counseling

How do I help a fellow believer who is in pain, or who is going through a difficulty?

How do I personally deal with pain and difficulty and trouble in my own life?

What role does modern psychological thinking, and medicine play in helping others through crises?

Join us for the next session of the Leadership Training Institute, where we will deal with these questions and more over the next few weeks as we study "Discipleship Counseling."

Join us for prayer meeting at 6:30 and then LTI immediately following at 7:30 in the Fellowship Hall. LTI sessions are open to all.

God Hears

For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their prayers. (I Peter 3:12)

God sees. Let Him see us on our knees. God hears. Let Him hear us praying.

Join us this week for prayer meeting? There is much to pray about! Wednesday, 6:30.
