Let Us Give Thanks!

God has blessed Friendship Bible Church with a beautiful building. He has done it without us needing to go into debt. He has done it while maintaining peace and harmony among us throughout the project. He has done it! And we praise and thank Him for doing it.

This Lord's Day - March 1, we will dedicate the new building to the glory of God. Special speaker, Dr. Charles Whitfield, from Birmingham, Michigan, will be with us in both the Sunday School and Worship hours. Dr. Whitfield was the founder and pastor of the Grace Baptist Church of Birmingham, from which he recently retired after serving for over 57 years. He also founded the Birmingham Bible Institute. He has led multiple tours to the Holy Land, 3 of which Bill and Beth were privileged to join. He is a pastor, a preacher, a scholar, a Bible college professor, a mentor, and a friend.

Join us at 9:30 for Sunday School. All adults are welcome to gather in the auditorium for a lesson from Dr. Whitfield.

Then at 10:30 we will hold our worship service. The elders will be presenting some information about the building project, as well as recognizing those who played a role in its completion. We will mostly be thanking God for what He has done. And Dr. Whitfield will preach.

Immediately following the worship service, there will be light refreshments, and an opportunity to tour the new facilities.

Wonderful Wednesdays

Two great opportunities are happening tonight at Friendship Bible Church: Prayer Meeting at 6:30, and Mailing Party at 7:30.

Come pray with us first, and then help stamp and label the invitations for the dedication service. Many hands make these mailing efforts go quick. And we want all of our neighbors to have an invitation to the celebration.
