15 Minutes Can Change This Country

If it is true that “our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms” (Eph. 6:12), then we must pray, mustn’t we? Can there be any other way to reach a lost world? Do we really think our plans and programs can bring down dark strongholds of spiritual evil in the heavenly realms? (Ben Patterson)

On Thursday evening, Friendship Bible Church will be open from 5:00 until 9:00 as we join brothers and sisters from around America in the National Day of Prayer.

I am asking for each member of FBC to give just 15 minutes, sometime during that window, and come to the church and pray.  Our goal - our church family praying continuously throughout that evening.  One or more of the elders will be on hand to pray with you, should you desire that.  Or, you can simply pray alone or with your family. There is no program... just prayer.

We've asked people to sign up for a time slot, and seen good response for the 5:00-6:00 hour, but from 6:00-9:00 we have a lot of openings remaining.

Will you come, sometime between 6:00-9:00 and pray for this country... for our world... for the increase of the Kingdom... for your brothers and sisters in Christ?

15 minutes... will you donate it to the cause of Christ?

“Prayer can never be in excess.” —Charles Spurgeon
