Weekend Update
A couple of important reminders, as well as a cancellation for this weekend:
Campfire Fellowship and Harvest Party - Cancelled, due to both weather and the fact that the pastor had a scheduling conflict. We'll pick the fellowships up again next summer.
Haven of Rest Set Up and Serve - This Saturday morning at 10:00. Meet at the Haven!

Hey... I just realized...
Tonight is the last prayer meeting before the election! I wonder if we have anything to pray about?

Last week, in the stories we learned in Sunday school, we learned about what was arguably David's greatest victory, as he slew Goliath. Tonight, we will learn about what some would call his greatest failure - Bathsheba.
An interesting question would be, what role did prayer play in David's greatest victory? And what role prayerlessness in his epic fail?

Well, it looks like the weather is not going to allow us to have our Campfire Fellowship this evening, so it is CANCELED and we will reschedule it for next Saturday, same time, same place.
