Empty - That's what the sanctuary at FBC will be this evening, for there is NO PRAYER MEETING TONIGHT.

Empty - The cross at the end of Good Friday. Join us as we remember that empty cross on Friday from 6:30 - 7:30 PM.

Empty - The grave on resurrection morn! Join us at 8:30 or 10:30 Easter Sunday as we twice celebrate the empty tomb and the risen Savior.

We Need You!

An Opportunity!

This Saturday at 9:00 AM we need a crew to help with spring cleaning. Can you spare an hour to help make the Lord's house beautiful for Easter Sunday? Deacons - we need you to show up. Deaconesses - we need you to show up. Those with the spiritual gift of helps - we need you to show up. And anybody who just loves the Lord, wants to see the house beautiful, and has some time on Saturday morning - we need you to show up.

In addition to cleaning, we'll need a few to help with the Easter decorations, as well.

Will you give an hour this Saturday?

OK THEN!

 While it looks like it will be dry on Saturday, the forecast now says it will only be 44 degrees. So we are going to try for Sunday afternoon, when it's forecast to be 60 degrees.

The Saturday ride and blessing of the bikes is postponed until Sunday afternoon at 1:00.  

On The Road For Lost Souls

First ride of 2017 is tentatively scheduled for this Saturday, April 1. We will meet at the church at 1:00, have a brief "Blessing of the Bikers" and then hit the road for a short inaugural ride. If you have a bike, join us! And even if you don't, pray for the day, for invitations have been posted and we hope to have some from the community join us with their bikes.

So far the weather forecast is favorable, but just in case, Sunday April 2 is the rain date.

Little Things You Have Done

I dreamed I went to heaven 

And you were there with me; 

We walked upon the streets of gold 

Beside the crystal sea. 

We heard the angels singing 

Then someone called your name. 

We turned and saw a young man running 

And he was smiling as he came.

And he said, "Friend you may not know me now."

You used to teach my Sunday School

And every week you would say a prayer 

Before the class would start.

This evening we return to our regular schedule for midweek prayer meetings at 6:30 PM. Charles Spurgeon said, "No man can do me a truer kindness in this world than to pray for me." True. And so we will gather and pray for one another as the Bible commands. Will you join us? We need you, and you need this too.

BUT THEN AFTER PRAYER MEETING, we will be stamping and labeling invitations for Easter. There will be pizza and pop so you can plan on munching while you mail. It's always an enjoyable time, and always made better when we have many hands. Will you join us? This is a great ministry to bring your older kids to, too. If you come for prayer meeting, be there at 6:30. If you want to just come for the food and fellowship after, be there at 7:15.

Stamping and labeling postcards might seem a little thing… might seem insignificant. You might think you have a better plan for the evening, but then remember that every little thing done here for the Lord will receive its reward one day!

One by one they came

Sacrifices made, 

Unnoticed on the earth 

In heaven, now proclaimed.
